Dr. Tandra Gaul was born and raised in Alliance, Nebraska. At a very young age, she began to volunteer at a local animal hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Chadron State College. Graduating at the top of her class, she received her degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1999 from Kansas State University. Dr. Gaul then completed a yearlong internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Her special veterinary interests include orthopedic surgery and oncology. She loves spending time horseback riding, competing in endurance marathons and horse races around the Southwest and hiking with her husband, daughter and son.
Dr. Jennifer Redmon was born and raised near Fort Wayne, Indiana, where her family still resides. During elementary school she decided to become a veterinarian and has never had a second thought of being anything else. She studied biology at University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1992. Her favorite thing is soft tissue surgery. She had training in chiropractic manipulation in 1996 and has continued to develop her skills since. In recent years, she has been learning abdominal and cardiac ultrasound to aid in making more accurate diagnoses. Dr. Redmon is a real “home body” and loves spending time with her family. She participates in trail riding and endurance riding (up to 50 miles a day) on her three, soon to be four, Appaloosa horses. At any given time you can find her reading at least one to two mystery/suspense books.
Sandra Rogers, DVM

Dr. Rogers was born in Bisbee, Arizona. While in eighth grade, the death of her cat influenced her decision to become a veterinarian. She attended Northern Arizona University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology. After NAU she attended Colorado State University graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She has a love for working on eyes and the surrounding tissue. One of her favorite activities is helping her two children with various school projects and field trips. She also enjoys hiking, bicycling, reading, and stained glass. The two stained glass windows located in the hospital waiting area are a few of her masterpieces. “I’ve really enjoyed working here. Sometimes famous pets come in too. I’ve seen ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Elvis.’ I even had the honor of neutering ‘George W. Bush!’”
Dr. Kernan grew up in sunny Phoenix, Arizona and graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Microbiology from Arizona State University. From there she went and explored the Pacific Northwest while studying Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. Coming back to Arizona she knew Prescott was the place to be with its cool weather and friendly people. Working at Prescott Valley Pet Clinic has been remarkable and she finds joy in helping people and pets live their longest healthiest lives together. Dr. Kernan’s special interests in veterinary medicine are dermatology, internal medicine, weight management and nutrition. When not working Dr. Kernan spends time hiking, kayaking, swimming, cooking, gardening, reading, relaxing and watching TV with her husband, 3 children and the super dog Owen Lars McGee the uber-Brittany.
Elaine Chambers, DVM

Dr. Elaine Chambers was born in Avondale, Arizona where she worked for a veterinarian while attending high school. Between her job in high school, devotion for family pets, and interest in science and medicine she decided to go to school to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Aqua Fria High School and from there attended Northern Arizona University where she received a bachelors degree in Chemistry and Biology and a minor in German. After graduating from NAU, Dr. Chambers attended Colorado State University and graduated in 1984 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests are feline medicine, geriatrics and internal medicine. She is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners and an active member in the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Chambers spends her spare time doing home improvement, cooking, camping, hiking, down hill skiing, spending time with her two Abyssinian cats and visiting the Grand Canyon. Every few years, she organizes a continuing education meeting for veterinarians as a raft trip through the Grand Canyon.
Sarah Hay, DVM

Dr. Sarah Hay was born and raised in beautiful Traverse City, MI. After high school she attended Michigan State University for her undergratuate studies in Zoology. She then attended Purdue University where she completed her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Hay has visited Arizona several times and was drawn to the beautiful landscape of Prescott and Prescott Valley. She is excited to begin her career at Prescott Valley Pet Clinic. Her special veterinary interests are feline medicine, radiology and general surgery. Outside of work, Dr. Hay enjoys playing softball, cooking, baking, scrapbooking, making pottery and playing with her two kitties; Murphy and Izzy.
Dr. Dana Frank grew up in Los Angeles, California but always wished she was in the country. Always knowing she wanted to be a veterinarian, Dr. Frank started walking dogs as a kid and then got her first veterinary assistant job at age 14. She attended U.C. Davis and received a bachelors of science in international agriculture development. In 1996, she graduated as a doctor of veterinary medicine from Colorado State University. Dr. Frank believes in the benefits of preventative care such as, regular examinations, vaccinations, dental care, exercise and obesity prevention. She is proud to be practicing high quality veterinary medicine, keeping up with the highest standards of care and also enjoys all aspects of internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Frank enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons, hiking, gardening, weight training, and reading. She is a Diamondbacks fan and enjoys going to the ball park.
